Had a chance to talk to both players last night, and those interviews will be played in their entirety on The Scoop, our weekly podcast, today.
Here are a couple of quotes from those conversations:
Moorman on fellow Temple recruit Justyn Hamilton:
“He’s very skilled, great touch on the perimeter. Smart IQ basketball player, can block shots. To be honest, when he gets stronger, he’ll be scary. He’ll be scary. He’ll be a great player, an all-league kind of guy, because he’s so skilled. So once he gets that strength and that body weight on him, he’ll be great, in my opinion.”
Pierre-Louis on what this recruiting class wants to bring to Temple and how they want to make the Owls perennial contenders in March:
“We legitimately talk about it all the time. We call ourselves the Fab Four. We have a group chat. Our biggest thing is we want to bring a whole new type of aura to Temple. We want to bring the back-in-the-day Temple – with Eddie Jones and Lynn Greer and everybody from back then and bring that back to Philadelphia. We want to win a national championship, obviously. We want to win an AAC championship, obviously. We want to bring a whole different type of attitude. We want to bring grit, athletes, a faster pace – a whole different type of aura that Temple hasn’t seen in a while. We want to be different.”
