I was quickly perusing the scores and standings tonight and thought to myself, “it’s only the first week in January and Temple will not be playing meaningful basketball for the remainder of the 2017-2018 season.” It’s borderline criminal for this staff to have the current players they do, the seeming benefit of Josh Brown’s return for this particular season, aggressive freshmen who appear to be able to make a difference, no major injuries (save the Lowe kid) yet still, STILL they have a losing conference record again and are mired in the cellar of the AAC with fellow jokeshow USF.
I will say I’m looking forward to reading up after tomorrow’s loss and how this pathetic program rolls into SMU with even more loser momentum to be thoroughly embarrassed once again. Good times and they’ll keep happening for another 3.5 years.
