Well, my trip up from Florida was none to pleasant although the family & friends part were great.

The coaches get an F- grade if there is such a thing or maybe a ZERO. No aggression on either side of the ball. The D was torched with the exact same Nova plays as last year. What did our staff do for the last three weeks?? Quick outs or slants to the tight end repeatedly along with flair passes to the RB's. Same as last year. Very few blitzes and our DB's played soft and off the ball. Were they afraid of getting beat deep by NOVA???? ---C'mon now. To relinquish 150 yds rushing to NOVA is beyond embarrassing.

On Offense, the running attack was a joke. As I believe CC mentioned, in a post, against a 1aa opponent, first & foremost, you should pound them on the ground. Armstead did not look healthy to me and I also don't think he is an effective runner as a lone back in the spread offense. With an ineffective rush game, why didn't we see other RB's in the game??? Also, our O-line was beaten all day by Nova's front 3 and their LB's. Obviously, Frank had a poor game but I think he deserves another start against Buffalo. However, if he performs poorly again, he should be replaced in the second half.

Having followed Temple football since 1970, this was the most disappointing loss I've witnessed. Next week will determine if we are really as bad as we looked. A loss against Buffalo and we are looking at a 3 or 4 win season.
