I don't know if these guys would be interested or if there would a spot for them, but the new Temple coach would be smart to find jobs for guys like St. Joseph's Prep coach Gabe Infante, Wood' s Steve Devlin, and North Penn' Dick Beck, a former Owls center.
They are all young, bright, energetic guys, and they have built dynasties at the respective schools. I'd like to hire Albie Crosby, too. He left Imhotep to spend more time with his family, but he'd be a great recruiter. He's 46, so he's not getting any younger, and now would be a good time for him to take the next step.
This is all pipe dream stuff, but it would be nice to get these local HS coaches involved somehow, even if they were E.J. Barthel types and were only involved with recruiting.
With Evan Cooper joining Coach Rhule, there would be an opening, and one or all of the above would be perfect.
