Should have been the starter from Day 1.
He was 22-30 for 289 yards and 4TDs last night vs. Navy. He did have the INT with about 7-plus left in the fourth quarter, but Randle Jones probably should have pulled in the high pass.
I posted that I was Impressed with his arm when he went 3-for-3 in mop-up duty against Tulane in 2015, and I said he reminded me physically of Dan Marino, and I got the typical negative response.
I have rooted for this kid since he got to Temple. He just stands in the pocket and finds receivers. The kid is a quarterback, and it's obvious the receivers enjoy playing with him more than Marchi.
