If anything is an indication, this week has proved that it is time for Fran Dunphy to step down. The fact that Mark Williams was in the game in those final 30 seconds was questionable. The fact that he allowed him to take that shot was inexcusable. I don't understand how he allows Mark to take that shot with the game on the line. Literally anyone else on the floor (hell, even most people on the bench) would have better luck in that situation. Even Obi had a great game, knocking down five 3's; I'd rather see him test his hot hand.
Then, Obi took the halfcourt shot when there was still about 2.5 seconds left. He had plenty of time to dish off to someone else, or bring the ball closer to the 3 point line. Complete lack of discipline.
To have the last 2 games in a row slip out of Temple's fingertips due to a lack of discipline down the stretch is embarrassing. These were both very winnable games. This team just can't finish out a game, and that falls on the coach. If my mind wasn't made up before, it is now. Fran needs to go.
