Temple defensive backs coach Cory Robinson spent time in the Detroit area during the spring. The Owls will host a large contingent of prospects from the Detroit area for Sunday's camp at Edberg-Olson Hall.

Some of the players expected to attend:

Marcus Fuqua - 2018 safety from Southfield High School with offers from Akron, Army, Ball State, Kent State, among others.

Dwayne Thompson - 2018 wide receiver/cornerback from West Bloomfield High School, holds offers from Columbia, Cornell and Brown.

AJ Abott, a receiver from Northville, holds 10 offers in total, while schools like Wisconsin and Michigan State have shown interest.

West Bloomfield quarterback Bryce Veasley and Orchard Lake Saint Mary's Caden Prieskorn will throw at Geoff Collins' camp. The Owls are in search for a quarterback in the 2018 cycle. Prieskorn is 6-foot-6, 205 pounds and holds an early offer from Holy Cross. Meanwhile, Veasley holds MAC level offers from the likes of Toledo and Bowling Green.

Davidson running back Tariq Reid will enter Temple's camp in North Philadelphia with offers from Columbia and Cornell.

Cass Tech lineman Jeremiah Reed II could also be one to watch. Reed, a 6-foot-1, 280-pounder who recently transferred to the Detroit high school football powerhouse, is still waiting on his first offer.
