I've come to the conclusion that DD is the most frustrating player I've watched in my decades of following TU hoops. For the most part I have witnessed most Owls grow over their four years. John was a master at it, Fran also does a solid job. Every time DD has the ball in his hands I get a pit in my stomach. What will he do? Will he jack up a brick, miss handle the ball, throw an errant pass, or ?. As for his defense, yikes. I really pull for the kid, but I see no improvement. Yes, he makes some nice plays, but overall I think when he's on the court the offense is out of synch. I really hope he pulls it together. I actually think he's the key to getting to 20 wins.
