This quote from Quinton Rose in Narducci's article today: "We were prepared (for La Salle and GW) and kind of sensed that we were better than them and we didn't have to play as hard as we should, but we learned our lesson from that."
"DIDN'T HAVE TO PLAY AS HARD AS WE SHOULD"
As an old school Temple Basketball fan this bothers me to no end. This is the antithesis of what Temple is all about. Your a team coming off a 16-16 season that has won nothing and you "kind of sensed that we were better than them?" A Big 5 opponent and a team that beat you on your home court last year!?! Sometimes you need to hate losing more than you like winning. I don't know if our kids have that.
