the money is generational and guaranteed . When you are talking 4 million a year for 4 or 5 years then it is almost impossible to turn it down . Nobody on this board would turn it down . Coaches want to be the best and want to compete against the best . That type of money and the desire to be a national champion is what drives these guys .
This also may point to some things known by coach internally . Maybe he knows that inclusion into a power 5 is not in the immediate future and that the stadium is not a done deal . You have three or four major P5 schools after you and you can see why he jumped . Temple needs to get another young aggressive coach but must deliver the P5 and stadium within the next three of four years or we may have hit the max in football
