So, this came to me this morning. I live in northern VA and have been a lifelong Redskin fan. Yes, that's been really difficult for the past 20 or so years. Completely dysfunctional and hard to watch so far this year - the Deadskins.
This year, the dysfunction of my more recent beloved Owls has tested me in a similar manner.
In watching last night's Redskins/Raiders game, I witnessed a transformed team that finally came together as a unit and the Hogs 2.0 put a total beatdown on da Raidas. The players were in their feelings and took things into their own hands. It was a total blast from the past. I got the feeling that this Redskins team is really onto something as a team for the first time in awhile.
Similarly, is it possible that, after last week's embarrassment, that the Boys from Broad St finally put it together and put it to a Houston team that appears to be vulnerable? Can this be the big turnaround we are waiting for, to the point that the guys start believing in each other, stop thinking too much, and just go out and raise all holy hell on the Cougars?
