McMurphy only lists the P5 conferences in total but notes the AAC could have P5 opponents in five of their seven bowl tie ins starting in 2020.
The current Military bowl vs the ACC/Birmingham bowl vs. the SEC will continue and the rumored Fenway Park bowl vs the ACC will happen, The other changes are the SEC as an opponent in the Gasparilla bowl and the Big 10 being the opponent in the Quick Lane bowl in Detroit (which would be a new tie in for the conference). That would leave 2 other bowls likely with G5 opponents (although the SEC and Big 10 may not fill their spots depending on how many teams make the playoff or get bowl eligible).
