My vote is Lance Leipold. He has proved that he can win with talent. And most of all he KNOWS how to win. I don’t care if it was DIII, he won 6 national titles. I’m not sure if Collins, Rhule, Golden, etc would have won 6 national championships at the DIII level. It takes a great level of understanding clutch scenarios and split decision making to have that success. I think one knock on all of our temple coaches, is that they have floundered in calling TOs, some gameday management, and late game play calling. Is he the best long term coach? I don’t know but I don’t care. I think he’s the best choice to beat GT and win 10 games in 2019.

Unfortunately for the Foley and Fran Brown endorsers, I suspect they will have significant growing pains so expect some narrow margin losses in their first 2 seasons. Those losses will likely be against teams with inferior talent due to late game mismanagement. Kind of like how we lost to Villanova and Lance Leipolds Buffalo team this year. Thoughts?
