This is exactly where I thought we'd be before the season started 8-2 after ten games with one road conference loss and a loss to Notre Dame, but it sure doesn't feel good right now
The defense has been bad the last two games, missed tackles mainly, which can be corrected. But it has to be corrected right now because the Tigers from Memphis are coming to town off of two straight losses.
I'm not one to question the way Matt Rhule runs his team, but I don't think at this point of the season with no off week since September, that the Owls should be doing the Oklahoma Drill before games. Also, I don't know what happens in practice, but I get the sense that the Owls are still doing a lot of hitting during practice. I don't know how wise that is with two regular season games to go.
But like I said, this is where I thought we would be and one more win clinches a spot in the conference championship game, so come on, let's get it done.
