We sit at 2-0, so that is good. What are the story lines to watch this season? Here are my initial reactions, from the one half I watched and from reading box score.
Positives: 1) The trio of Obi, Rose, and Alston is lethal offensively. 2) we have the ability to shoot lights out from beyond the arch. 3) Our perimeter defense is holding opponents to shooting about 25% from 3. 4) we are shooting 80% from the line through 2 games. Also are RPI is 11. Not really sure what that is worth so early in the season but I will take it.

Reasons for concern: 1) Not really sure how strong we are on D overall. 2) Rebounding. We actually out rebounded ODU and we only -4 against Auburn. But we gave up a total of 36 offensive rebounds and only got 23. That sort of reflects the trend in the last few years. Seems like we generally do not generate many second chance points and are prone to allowing a lot of offensive rebounds.

Thing to look at: Secondary Scoring! A consistent 15 points per game from Josh Brown and Aliani Moore would be huge. Another 10 from D. Moore and Aflakpui would be nice but I don't think that is realistic. Although, they did exceed that through the first two games.
