I believe I mentioned his name on a previous episode of The Scoop, but it might be the first time I've written about him here on the basketball board.

Temple has been recruiting Simeon High School's Jeremiah Williams, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound guard who can play the point or off the ball. His two latest offers have come from St. Bonaventure and Illinois-Chicago. Wichita State is set to offer soon, and he could have an offer from Temple by this weekend.

Williams was named to the Chicago Sun-Times' second-team all-city squad after averaging 16.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 blocks. His teammate, Ahamad Bynum, is a top-100 player from the 2021 class who has already committed to DePaul.

Simeon has produced some notable players over the years, including Derrick Rose, Jabari Parker and Kendrick Nunn.

Here are a few highlights from his Twitter.

Eric Bossi wrote about Williams back on Jan. 18.
