Temple freshman walk-on kicker Aaron Boumerhi has been named the American Athletic Conference's Special Teams Player of The Week.
Boumerhi was 3 of 3 on field goal attempts and 4 of 4 on extra points in last Friday's 46-30 win over USF.
Boumerhi is 5 of 5 on field goal tries and 6 of 6 on extra points through his first two-plus games as Austin Jones' replacement.
Sophomore running back Ryquell Armstead, who rushed for 210 yards and two touchdowns against USF, was also named to the AAC's Weekly Honor Roll.
