Finally the season has ended with a bowl win last accomplished in 2011!! We lost a couple games they we were favored in starting below .500, partly to due with a first year HC and staff, and finished off the season strong going 4-1. Also accomplishing a new record previous set by 16' senior class with most career wins by a graduating class. All in all it satisfies, for now, my growing expectation of a changed program.
Without a shadow of a doubt Temple was fortunate to have hire two HC's that helped bring this program from one foot in the grave with a banana peel next to the other foot. Achieving incremental milestone success was welcomed but required rebuilds after huge drop offs Now this program has reached a new water mark were they are no more drastic peaks and valleys but new and larger presidents being set. Bowl games and success in bowls game should be and be demanded for every season.
We have quality depth at QB. Quality Depth along the D-line. Recruited depth in both WR and DB positions. I do not envision this team going below .500 unless by result of injuries. Even with turnover in HC's the programs continues to grows stronger roots.
In the beginning of the year my prediction was 6-7 wins AND a bowl win. The season was fun while it last but it sure was fun watching with frustration and elation to a wonder 2017 campaign.
