According to Brian Flinn of Future 150, Larry Brown has been at all of Daron Russell's games over the weekend. Russell plays for the Nike-backed Team Final on the AAU circuit.
As we've mentioned before, it's unclear if Temple wants to take Russell. The Owls signed 5-9 point guard Alani Moore in November and seem hesitant to add another guard below 6-foot.
Temple head coach Fran Dunphy got a look at Russell, along with high priority 2017 guard Lonnie Walker, on Saturday.
While at the Nike EYBL event, Dunphy also watched the New York Lightning, presumably for 2017 Saint Raymond's (NY) wing Sidney Wilson. The Owls offered Wilson last week. As we previously reported, Dunphy went to Wilson at his school earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Dunphy and two other staff members were spotted in Brooklyn at the Under Armour Assocation event. They were watching the PSA Cardinals, who boast a loaded roster that includes major Temple targets such as Mo Bamba, Brandon Randolph and Quade Green.
Flinn also reported on Saturday that Dunphy was watching Sports U/ Union Catholic (NJ) big man Jordan Pierce. Sports U is the same program that produced current Temple guard Josh Brown, as well as former standout Quenton DeCosey. Pierce is still waiting on an offer from Temple.

Temple also checked out 2017 big Malik Williams, a 7-foot center out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Williams was playing at the Spring Showdown by Elevate Hoops in Staten Island. Williams is being recruited by a variety of high majors, including Michigan State, Purdue, Indiana and NC State.
