So Navy outlasted Tulsa, 42-40, today, which means the American Athletic Conference championship game could very well in Annapolis Dec. 3.

If Temple beats Tulane and East Carolina, it wins the American's East Division and has a shot at hosting the conference championship game, but the Owls will need some help. They'll have to hope Navy loses at ECU or at SMU.

The first determinant for the championship game site is conference record. If that is identical, then it goes to head-to-head winner, and that will not be a factor because Temple and Navy don't play each other during the regular season. Then it goes to then CFP ranking, then computer ranking average - and the computer rankings are where this thing will likely be decided.

Here is a breakdown.
