The only media availability for this week is Geoff Collins' portion of the American Athletic Conference coaches call, which took place Monday afternoon.
Collins said Temple held a practice Monday for the younger players. The Owls will have Tuesday and Wednesday off before reporting back to Edberg-Olson Hall Thursday to begin Navy game prep.
Collins was also asked about Temple's lack of pressure on Army's final offensive drive of regulation. He said he's had "sleepless nights" as he thinks about the Owls' conservative approach on Army's final drive.
Collins said Keith Kirkwood is still dealing with a shoulder injury. He was not available to play defensive end against Army. He probably would have been helpful on Army's final drive of regulation.
As noted in the Jayde Pierre thread, Temple's staff will also hit the road to recruit this weekend. I've been told that offensive coordinator Dave Patenaude is scheduled Friday night to see 2018 quarterback commit Trad Beatty and running back commit Kyle Wright. It's possible that Geoff Collins could also make the trip to see the pair of commits, but that's still up in the air. Running backs coach Tony Lucas will also see 2018 defensive end commit Dante Burke.
